Accenture initiates dividend

IT-serviced provider Accenture (ACN) will start paying an annual dividend of $0.30 per share in the fourth quarter of 2005.

This first ever dividend will be paid on November 15, 2005 to shareholders of record on October 17, 2005. The ex-date for this annual dividend is October 13, 2005.
