A. O. Smith Corporation (AOS) will raise its quarterly dividend by 14.3 percent to $0.16 per share in 2011. Last year the company hiked its quarterly dividend by $0.015 to $0.21 per share quarterly.

A. O. Smith Corporation is manufacturer of residential and commercial water heating equipment, as well as a manufacturer of water treatment and air purification products. The company serves residential and commercial end markets in North America with a range of products, which include water heaters, boilers and other. It supplies water heaters to the residential market in China with a broad product offering, including electric, gas, gas tankless, heat pump and solar units, as well as combi boilers.
