Texas Instruments Incorporated (TXN) will raise its quarterly dividend by 24 percent to $0.62 per share in 2017. The higher dividend will be payable November 13, 2017, to stockholders of record on October 31, 2017.

The company states that dividend increases and share repurchases are both part of TI's capital management strategy and reflect the company's strong free cash flow generation and commitment to return excess cash to shareholders. With today's announcement, the company has increased dividends each of the past 14 years, and through consistent share repurchases has reduced outstanding shares by 42 percent since the end of 2004.
