Aon hikes dividend by 11.1%

Aon plc (AON) will raise its quartery dividend by 11.1 percent to $0.40 per share in the second quarter of 2018. The new dividend yield for the global professional services firm is 1.1%.

The dividend is payable May 15, 2018 to shareholders of record on May 1, 2018. Last year AON hiked its dividend by 9.1 percent and 2018 will mark the 7th consecutive year of annual dividend increases by the insurer.
