American Financial Group, Inc. (AFG) will pay a special cash dividend of $1.50 per share in the second quarter of 2018. Last year AFG paid two special dividends. The regular dividend yields 1.3%.

The dividend is payable on May 25, 2018 to shareholders of record on May 15, 2018. The aggregate amount of this special dividend will be approximately $133 million. This special dividend is in addition to the Company’s regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.35 per share most recently paid on April 25, 2018.
