W.R. Berkley (WRB) will another special dividend of 50 cents per share in the third quarter of 2018. Last quarter the quarterly dividend was hiked by 7.1 percent to $0.15 per share and a special dividend was announced.

The special dividend will be paid on October 3, 2018 to stockholders of record at the close of business on September 19, 2018 together with the regular quarterly dividend. Including the 50 cents per share special dividend that was paid on June 18, 2018, this brings special dividends during 2018 to $1.00 per share. The regular dividend yields 0.8% at a stock price of $76.18.
