Verizon hikes dividend by 2.1%

Verizon Communications (VZ) will raise its quarterly dividend by 2.1 percent to $0.6025 per share in 2018. This marks the company's 12th consecutive year of dividend increases.

The next quarterly dividend is payable on November 1, 2018, to Verizon shareowners of record at the close of business on October 10, 2018. The new annual dividend of $2.41 per share yields 4.4% at a stock price of $54.29 for VZ.
