U.S. Bancorp hikes dividend by 23.3%

Financial services holding company U.S. Bancorp (USB) will raise its quarterly dividend by 23.3 percent to $0.37 per share in 2018.

At this new quarterly dividend rate, the annual dividend will be equivalent to $1.48 per common share.

The next dividend is payable October 15, 2018, to stockholders of record at the close of business on September 28, 2018. The ex-date for this dividend is September 27, 2018. The new annual dividend yields 2.2% at a stock price of $54.14 for USB.
