CBOE Global Markets (CBOE) will raise its quarterly dividend by 16.1 percent to $0.36 per share in 2018. The company has now increased its dividend for 9 consecutive years.
The next dividend will be paid on September 13 to shareholders of record on August 30. The new annualized dividend rate of $1.44 per share yields 1.2% at a stock price of $118.86.
Brian N. Schell, Cboe Global Markets Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer commented: "Additionally, we raised our third quarter dividend by 16 percent and utilized existing cash to repay $300 million in 1.950% Senior Notes that were due on June 28, 2019, reducing our leverage ratio to 1.2x from 1.5x at March 31, 2019."
