Cheniere Energy Partners (CQP) will raise its quarterly distribution by another 0.8 percent to $0.65 per unit in the 4th quarter of 2020. Last year the MLP hiked its distribution by a total of 1.6 percent.
The next distribution is payable on November 13, 2020 to unitholders of record as of November 6, 2020. A new annual distribution of $2.60 per unit yields 7.2% at a price of $36.56. The annual distribution has been raised for 4 consecutive years by CQP and translates into a total payment of $1.26 billion.
Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. (Cheniere Partners) is a Delaware limited partnership formed by Cheniere Energy, Inc. Through wholly owned subsidiaries, it owns and operates the Sabine Pass LNG receiving terminal and the Creole Trail Pipeline located in western Cameron Parish, Louisiana on the Sabine-Neches Waterway. Through Sabine Pass LNG, L.P., Cheniere Partners owns and operates regasification facilities at the Sabine Pass LNG terminal, which includes LNG storage tanks, marine berths and vaporizers with regasification capacity.
