J.M. Smucker hikes dividend by 10%

The J. M. Smucker Company (SJM) will raise its quarterly dividend by 10 percent to 99 cents per share in 2021. This follows a dividend hike of 2.3 percent to 90 cents quarterly announced in 2020. This will mark the 20th consecutive year of dividend increases by the food and beverage products company.

The increased dividend will be paid on Tuesday, September 1, 2021, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Friday, August 13, 2021. A new annual rate of $3.96 per share yields 3.0% at a stock price of $131.
