S&P Global (SPGI), the parent company of S&P Dow Jones Indices (maintaining the S&P500 Dividend Aristocrats Index) will raise its quarterly dividend by 10.4 percent to $0.85 per share in 2022. This follows a dividend hike of 14.9 percent to 77 cents per share in 2021 and will mark the 49th consecutive year of annual dividend increases by the Dividend Aristocrat.

The Board of Directors of S&P Global today approved a 10.4% increase in the regular quarterly cash dividend on the Company's common stock over the prior quarter.  The quarterly dividend will increase from $0.77 to $0.85 per share in the second quarter. The dividend of $0.85 is payable on June 10, 2022, to shareholders of record on May 27, 2022. The new annualized dividend rate of $3.40 per share yields 0.9% at a stock price of $375.
