Costco Hikes Dividend for 21st Straight Year in 2025
Dividend up 12%, five-year growth at 13.2%, shares up 7% in 2025
Costco Wholesale has raised its quarterly dividend by 12.1%, bumping the payout to $1.30 per share from $1.16. That’s now 21 consecutive years of dividend increases.
The new annualized payout comes to $5.20 per share, offering a yield of roughly 0.54% based on Wednesday’s close at $967.75. Shareholders of record as of May 2 will receive the higher dividend on May 16.
Costco’s 5-year dividend CAGR now stands at 13.2%. And just a few months ago, at the end of 2023, the company issued a special $15 per share dividend.
