The most import dividend hikes (week 45)
Double digit increases by KLAC, SNA, ADP and ROP and many specials
In another very busy dividend week more than 25 companies announced a dividend hike, special dividend or a dividend cut. The company cutting the dividend was Berry Corporation (BRY) with a 75% reduction.
Special dividends
We counted five special dividend announcements with American Financial Group (AFG), RLI Corp (RLI), International Seaways (INSW), OTC Markets (OTCM) and Weyco (WEYS).
Dividend Aristocrats
Week 45 also was a big week for Dividend Aristocrats with increases from Automatic Data Processing (ADP), Roper Technologies (ROP), Becton Dickinson (BDX), Emerson (EMR) and Atmos Energy (ATO). Both ADP and ROP did a decent 10% dividend hike, continuing their double digit dividend hike streak.

The big surprise came from Becton Dickinson, stepping up its dividend growth with a 9.5% dividend hike, the biggest in more than 5 years and following slowing dividend growth of less than 5% annually in the last couple of years.
Dissapointing was (again) Emerson with the smallest dividend hike on record with a mini 0.5% increase, just enough to bring the dividend track record to 68 consecutive years of increases.
Snap-on and KLA Corp
The biggest dividend hikes were announced by Snap-on (SNA) and KLA Corporation (KLAC), both continuing their double digit dividend hikes from the previous three years.
Tools maker Snap-on did a 15.1% dividend hike, following a 14.8% increase in 2023. Semiconductor company KLA hiked the dividend by 17.2% on the back of a 11.5% increase in 2023 and a 23.8% hike in 2022.
