European Dividend Highlights: Weeks 5 & 6 of 2025

In yet another couple of insanely busy weeks, dozens of European companies are pouring in daily with their annual results and the dividend for the past financial year. It’s simply too much to cover everything, so we highlight the most well-known names. Key Dividend Highlights:
Givaudan (Switzerland): Hikes dividend by 2.9% to CHF 70 per share in 2025.
Getinge (Sweden): Record dividend of SEK 4.60 per share in 2025, up 4.5% YOY. Yield: 2.2%. Ex-date: April 23, 2025.
LVMH (France): Keeps final dividend unchanged at €7.50 per share. FY 2024 dividend: €13.00 per share.
Volvo AB (Sweden): Total dividend of SEK 18.50 per share in 2025, up 2.8% YOY. Includes SEK 10.50 special dividend. Yield: 6%. Ex-date: April 6, 2025.
Dometic Group (Sweden): Cuts dividend by 31.6% to SEK 1.30 per share in 2025. Ex-date: April 16. Yield: 2.2%.
Lonza Group (Switzerland): Keeps dividend unchanged at CHF 4.00 per share in 2025. Ex-date: May 13. Yield: 0.7%.
Roche (Switzerland): Hikes dividend by 1% to CHF 9.70 per share. Weakest hike on record for this Dividend Aristocrat. Yield: 3.4%. Ex-date: March 27.
Sanofi (France): Raises dividend by 4.3% to €3.92 per share in 2025. Yield: 3.7%.
Evolution AB (Sweden): Raises dividend by 5.7% to €2.80 per share in 2025, following years of 30%+ hikes.
Novartis (Switzerland): Hikes dividend by 6.1% to CHF 3.50 per share. Yield is 3.6% with ex-date March 11, 2025. Novartis is a European Dividend Aristocrat just like Novo Nordisk, Sanofi and Roche (all with 25+ years of increases).
Novo Nordisk (Denmark): Hikes FY 2024 dividend by 21% to DKK 11.40 per share. CAGR of 22.6% over 30 years.
Assa Abloy (Sweden): Hikes dividend by 9.3% in 2025.
Société Générale (France): Pays €1.09 per share dividend in 2025, up 21% YOY. Yield: 3.1%. Ex-date: May 26.
ASML (Netherlands): hikes the FY 2024 dividend by 4.9% to €6.40 per share vs. €6.10 for 2023. The next quarterly dividend is €1.84 per share. ASML has raised the dividend 10+ consecutive years.
Carlsberg (Denmark): Keeps FY 2024 dividend unchanged at DKK 27 per share. Yield: 3.7%. Ex-date: March 18, 2025.
Vinci (France): Raises FY 2024 dividend by 5.6% to €4.75 per share. Final dividend: €3.70. Ex-date: April 22. Yield: 4.3%.
ING Groep (Netherlands): Final dividend of €0.71 per share vs. €0.756 last year. Estimated yield: 7.9%. Ex-date: April 24, 2025.
Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) (Sweden): Hikes dividend by 4.6% to SEK 6.80 per share. First dividend increase in 11 years. Yield: 4.6%.
ABB (Switzerland): Hikes dividend by 3.4% to CHF 0.90 per share. 20 years of stable or growing dividends. Yield: 1.8%. Ex-date: March 31.
