A total of 15 US stocks tracked by dividend hike have increased their dividends by an average of at least 25% each year over the past 10 years.
Cigna (CI) leads all stocks with a 63.9% average dividend hike in the last decade. The health services company actually stepped up its dividend growth in the last five years with an average hike of 168.7%.
The only reason Cigna leads in dividend growth this decade is because of its massive 9900% increase in 2021.
This year Cigna hiked the dividend by 13.8%, marking 4 consecutive years of increases. At a stock price of $341 the dividend yield for Cigna is 1.6%.
Other big names hiking the dividend by 25% or more every year in the last 10 years are Citigroup (C), Broadcom (AVGO), Lam Research (LRCX) and Nexstar Media (NXST). The last three stocks are all Dividend Heroes.
