Ameren initiates dividend

Utility holding Ameren Corp (AEE) will start paying a quarterly dividend of $0.635 per share in the first quarter of 1999.

The first ever dividend will be paid on March 31, 1998 to shareholders of record on March 10, 1998. The ex-date for this maiden dividend of 63.5 cents is March 8, 1999.
