Brown-Forman (BF) will pay a special dividend of $4 per share in december 2012. This payment comes on top of the regular quarterly dividend.
Earlier this month Dividend Aristocrat Brown-Forman already announced a 9.3 percent quarterly dividend increase to $0.255 per share.
The special dividend will be paid on December 27, 2012 to stockholders of record on December 12, 2012. The regular quarterly dividend will be paid a day earlier on December 26, 2012.
Brown-Forman Corporation manufactures, bottles, imports, exports, markets, and sells a wide variety of alcoholic beverages. The company's brands include Jack Daniel’s, Finlandia, Canadian Mist and el Jimador. Brown-Forman Corporation was incorporated under the laws of the State of Delaware in 1933, successor to a business founded in 1870 as a partnership and later incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky in 1901. The Brown family controls more than 50% of the economic ownership in Brown-Forman.
