Oracle hikes dividend by 100%

Oracle Corporation (ORCL) will double its quarterly dividend to $0.12 per share in 2013. This is the first dividend hike by the technology company since the second quarter of 2011.

The next dividend is payable on August 2, 2013, to shareholders of record at the close of business on July 12, 2013. The ex-date for the new quarterly dividend of 12 cents per share is July 10, 2013.
