Insurer American International Group Inc (AIG) will start paying a dividend again after a four-year hiatus. The new quarterly dividend is set at $0.10 per share.
It's the first dividend payment since 2008, when AIG canceled its $4.40 per share quarterly dividend during the subprime mortgage crisis.
The current estimated yield is 0.8%.
AIG is the marketing name for the worldwide property-casualty, life and retirement, and general insurance operations of American International Group, Inc.
