Allstate hikes dividend by 12%

Allstate Corporation (ALL) will increase its dividend by 12.0 percent from $0.25 to $0.28 quarterly in the first quarter of 2014. This follows a 13.6 percent dividend hike last year and marks the fourth consecutive year of dividend increases.

The Allstate Corporation is a holding company for Allstate Insurance Company. The Company and its subsidiaries are engaged in the property-liability insurance and life insurance business, offered through its Allstate, Esurance, Encompass and Answer Financial brand names.
