Idacorp hikes dividend by 9.3%

IDACORP, Inc. (IDA) will increase its quarterly dividend by 9.3 percent to $0.47 per share in 2014. Because of this the dividend will top the 2003 per share payment for the first time. The company last cut its dividend in 2003, when the quarterly payment was lowered from $0.465 per share to $0.30 per share.

IDACORP, Inc. is a holding company comprised of Idaho Power, a regulated electric utility; IDACORP Financial, a holder of affordable housing projects and other real estate investments; and Ida-West Energy, an operator of small hydroelectric generation projects that satisfy the requirements of the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978.
