McDonald's hikes dividend by 4.9%

McDonald's Corporation (MCD) will raise its dividend by 4.9 percent to $0.85 quarterly per share in 2014. This marks the 38th consecutive year of higher dividends for Dividend Aristocrat McDonald's.

The new dividend is payable on December 15, 2014 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 1, 2014. The ex-date for the next dividend payment is November 26, 2014.

The Company's restaurants serve a locally relevant menu of food and drinks sold at various price points.
