Northwest Natural Gas hikes dividend by 1.1%

Northwest Natural Gas (NWN) will hike its quarterly dividend by 1.1 percent to $0.465 per share in the fourth quarter of 2014. This matches last year's 1.1 percent dividend hike by the gas utility and marks the 59th consecutive year of annual dividend increases.

The increased dividend will be paid November 14, 2014 to shareholders of record on October 31, 2014. The ex-date for this next dividend of 46.5 cents per share is October 29, 2014.

Northwest Natural Gas Company (NW Natural) provides natural gas service to residential, commercial, and industrial in western Oregon and southwestern Washington. NW Natural and its subsidiaries currently own and operate underground gas storage facilities in Oregon and California.
