Utility holding company Ameren Corporation (AEE) will raise its quarterly dividend by 2.5 percent to $0.41 per share in the fourth quarter of 2014. This marks the first dividend hike by Ameren since 2011.

The increased common share dividend is payable December 31, 2014, to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 10, 2014. The ex-date for this next dividend of 41 cents per share is December 8, 2014.
