MSC Industrial Direct Co (MSM) will pay a special dividend of $3.00 per share in the fourth quarter of 2014. This special dividend payment follows a 7 cent per share dividend increase to 40 cents quarterly earlier this month.

The $3.00 dividend is payable on November 26, 2014 to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 18, 2014. The ex-dividend date for the special dividend is November 14, 2014.
