The Walt Disney Company (DIS) will raise its annual dividend by 33.7 percent to $1.15 per share. The Dow 30 company has raised its dividend by almost 229 percent since 2009.

The Walt Disney Company, together with its subsidiaries, is an entertainment company with operations in four business segments: Media Networks, Parks and Resorts, Studio Entertainment, and Consumer Products & Interactive Media. Its cable networks consist of ESPN, the Disney Channels and Freeform.
