Idacorp hikes dividend by 8.5%

IDACORP, Inc. (IDA) will raise its quarterly dividend by 8.5 percent to $0.51 per share in 2015. The company last cut its dividend in 2003, when the quarterly payment was lowered from $0.465 per share to $0.30 per share. Last year IDA surpassed the 2003 dividend level for the first time with its 9.3 percent dividend hike to 47 cents per share.

IDACORP, Inc. is a holding company comprised of Idaho Power, a regulated electric utility; IDACORP Financial, a holder of affordable housing projects and other real estate investments; and Ida-West Energy, an operator of small hydroelectric generation projects that satisfy the requirements of the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978.
