Northwest Natural Gas hikes dividend by 0.5%

Northwest Natural Gas (NWN) will raise its quarterly dividend by 0.5 percent to $0.4675 per share in the fourth quarter of 2015. This follows a 1.1 percent dividend hike by the gas utility last year.

The increased dividend will be paid November 13, 2015 to shareholders of record on October 30, 2015. The ex-date for this next dividend of 47.25 cents per share is October 28, 2015.

Northwest Natural Gas Company (NW Natural) provides natural gas service to residential, commercial, and industrial in western Oregon and southwestern Washington. NW Natural and its subsidiaries currently own and operate underground gas storage facilities in Oregon and California.
