Electric utility holding company American Electric Power (AEP) will raise its quarterly dividend by 5.7 percent to $0.56 per share in the fourth quarter of 2015.

The increased dividend will be paid on December 10, 2015, to shareholders of record as of November 10, 2015. The ex-date for this next dividend of 56 cents is November 6, 2015.
