MGE Energy (MGEE) will raise its quarterly dividend by 4.2 percent to $0.3075 per share in 2016.

"Our customer-focused business model has supported payment of dividends to our shareholders for over one hundred years." MGE Energy has increased shareholder dividend payouts annually for 41 consecutive years.

MGE Energy is a public utility holding company. Its principal subsidiary, Madison Gas and Electric, generates and distributes electricity to customers in Dane County, Wis., and purchases and distributes natural gas to customers in south-central and western Wisconsin counties.
