RGC Resources hikes dividend by 7.4%

RGC Resources (RGCO) will raise it’s quarterly dividend to $0.2175 per common share.

The dividend will be paid on February 1, 2017 to shareholders of record on January 17, 2017.

The Company has now increased the annual dividend 13 consecutive years. John D’Orazio, President and CEO of RGC Resources, Inc., stated, “The 7.4% increase reflects confidence in our business strategy and our continued commitment to deliver dividend growth to our investors.”

RGC Resources, Inc. provides energy and related products and services to customers in Virginia through its operating subsidiaries Roanoke Gas Company and RGC Midstream, LLC.

Based on a $24.71 stock price the new dividend yield is 3.5%.
