Ventas hikes dividend by 6.2%

Ventas (VTR) will increase it's quarterly dividend from $0.73 to $0.775 per share.

The dividend is payable in cash on December 30, 2016 to stockholders of record on December 20, 2016.

“We are pleased to continue our long track record of attractive dividend growth with a 6 percent increase in the fourth quarter 2016 dividend,” said Ventas Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Debra A. Cafaro.

Today’s dividend increase indicates an annualized rate of $3.10 per share and a yield of approximately 5.0% based on the $62.61 closing price on December 8, 2016.

Ventas is a healthcare REIT with properties located in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
