Northwest Natural Gas hikes dividend by 0.5%

Northwest Natural Gas Company (NWN) will raise its quarterly dividend by 0.5 percent to $0.4725 per share in the fourth quarter of 2017. This marks the 62nd consecutive year of annual dividend increases by the gas utility.

The increased dividend will be paid November 15, 2017 to shareholders of record on October 31, 2017. The ex-date for this next dividend of 47.25 cents per share is October 30, 2017.

Northwest Natural Gas Company (NW Natural) provides natural gas service to residential, commercial, and industrial in western Oregon and southwestern Washington. NW Natural and its subsidiaries currently own and operate underground gas storage facilities in Oregon and California.
