Master limited partnership Cheniere Energy Partners (CQP) will raise its quarterly distribution by 3.5 percent to $0.44 per unit in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The new distribution will be paid on November 14, 2017 to unitholders of record on November 3, 2017. Its the first distribution increase since 2008, when CQP initiated its quarterly distribution.

Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. (Cheniere Partners) is a Delaware limited partnership formed by Cheniere Energy, Inc. Through wholly owned subsidiaries, it owns and operates the Sabine Pass LNG receiving terminal and the Creole Trail Pipeline located in western Cameron Parish, Louisiana on the Sabine-Neches Waterway. Cheniere Partners has been paying quarterly distributions since 2007.
