Genesis Energy hikes distribution by 2%

MLP Genesis Energy (GEL) will raise its quarterly distribution to $0.51 per unit in the first quarter of 2018. This follows a 30 percent distribution cut by the MLP in Q4 of 2017, ending a 14 year record of annual increases.

The new distribution will be paid on February 14, 2018, to Common Unitholders of record at the close of business on January 31, 2018. The new distribution yield for GEL is 8.0%.

Genesis Energy, L.P. is a diversified midstream energy master limited partnership headquartered in Houston, Texas. Genesis' operations include onshore and offshore pipeline transportation, refinery services, marine transportation and supply and logistics.
