Energy Transfer Equity (ETE) will raise its quarterly distribution by 3.4 percent to $0.305 per unit in the first quarter of 2018. This follows a 3.5 percent hike by ETE last year.
The annual distribution has now been raised for 13 consecutive years by the master limited partnership. The new distribution yield for ETE is 6.6%.
Energy Transfer Equity, L.P. is a master limited partnership that owns the general partner and 100% of the incentive distribution rights (IDRs) of Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. (ETP) and Sunoco LP (SUN). ETE also owns Lake Charles LNG Company. On a consolidated basis, ETE’s family of companies owns and operates a diverse portfolio of natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil and refined products assets, as well as retail and wholesale motor fuel operations and LNG terminalling.
