Cimarex Energy hikes dividend by 100%

Cimarex Energy (XEC) will raise its quarterly dividend by 100 percent to $0.16 per share in the first quarter of 2018. The new dividend yield for XEC is 0.7%. Two years ago the dividend was cut by 50 percent and this marks the first dividend hike since.

The new dividend will be paid on June 1, 2018 to shareholders of record on May 15, 2018.

Cimarex Energy Co. is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company. The company operates in exploration and production (E&P) segment. All of the company's oil and gas assets are located in the United States with principal operations in the Mid-Continent and Permian Basin areas of the U.S.
