Ameriprise Financial (AMP) will raise its quarterly dividend by 8.4 percent to $0.90 per share in the second quarter of 2018. This follows last year's dividend hike from $0.75 to $0.83 per share quarterly.

The next dividend will be paid on May 18, 2018, to shareholders of record as of May 7, 2018. Ameriprise has now increased its dividend for 12 consecutive years and yields 2.5% based on the new annual dividend amount of $3.60 per share.
