Encompass Health hikes dividend by 8%

Encompass Health Corp (EHC), formerly HealthSouth (HLS), will raise its quarterly dividendby 8 percent to $0.27 per share in 2018. This marks the 5th consecutive year of dividend increases by EHC.

The next dividend is payable on October 15, 2018, to holders of record on October 1, 2018. The new annual dividend yields 1.6% at a stock price of $70.36.

Encompass Health Corp., formerly known as HealthSouth Corp., offers both facility-based and home-based patient care through its network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies and hospice agencies. Encompass operates home health and hospice agencies in 25 states, with concentrations in the Southeast, Oklahoma, and Texas.
