Innovative Industrial Properties hikes dividend by 40%

Innovative Industrial Properties (IIPR) will raise its quarterly dividend by 40 percent to $0.35 per share in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The cannabis facilities REIT initiated its dividend in 2017 following its initial public offering in December 2016.

The dividends are payable on October 15, 2018 to stockholders of record at the close of business on September 28, 2018. The new annual dividend yields 3.4% at a stock price of $41.75.

Innovative Industrial Properties, Inc. is a self-advised Maryland corporation focused on the acquisition, ownership and management of specialized industrial properties leased to experienced, state-licensed operators for their regulated medical-use cannabis facilities.
