First Of Long Island hikes dividend by 13.3%

The First of Long Island Corporation (FLIC) will raise its quarterly dividend by 13.3 percent to $0.17 per share in the fourth quarter of 2018.

This marks the company's 23rd consecutive year of annual dividend increases for the financial services company.

The increased dividend will be paid on October 19, 2018 to shareholders of record on October 10, 2018. A new annual dividend of 68 cents per share yields 3.1% at a stock price of $21.75.

The First National Bank of Long Island is the sole subsidiary of The First of Long Island Corporation.  The company provides financial services through its currently 52 branches in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Long Island and the boroughs of Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan.
