Dividend Aristocrat Pentair will raise its quarterly dividend by 2.9 percent to $0.18 per share in the first quarter of 2019. This follows a 50.0 percent dividend cut by the Dividend Aristocrat last year following the nVent spin-off. However, 2019 will mark the 43rd consecutive year that Pentair has increased its dividend according to the company, if adjusted for the separation.

This new dividend will be paid on February 8, 2019 to shareholders of record at the close of business on January 25, 2019. A new annualized dividend rate of 72 cents per share yields 1.8% at a stock price of $39.11.

Pentair plc is engaged in Water Quality Systems business and Flow and Filtration Solutions business. The company designs, manufactures, markets and services water system products and solutions to meet filtration and fluid management challenges in food and beverage, water, swimming pools and aquaculture applications. Its Flow and Filtration Solutions business is involved in the water treatment and wastewater system business.
