Amcon Distributing pays special dividend

AMCON Distributing Company (DIT) will pay a special dividend of $0.28 per share in the first quarter of 2019. Last year DIT also paid a similar special cash dividend.

The company's regular quarterly dividend is 18 cents per share and yields 0.9% at a stock price of $84.90. The special cash dividend is payable on January 29, 2019 to shareholders of record as of January 7, 2019.

AMCON is a leading wholesale distributor of consumer products, including beverages, candy, tobacco, groceries, foodservice, frozen and chilled foods, and health and beauty care products with locations in Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Tennessee.
