Cheniere Energy Partners hikes distribution by 1.7%

Cheniere Energy Partners (CQP) will raise its quarterly distribution by 1.7 percent to $0.59 per unit in the first quarter of 2019. This marks the 3rd consecutive year of distribution increases.

The next distribution is payable on February 14, 2019, to unitholders of record as of February 6, 2019. The new yield for the MLP is 6.1%. In 2018 the total distribution was increased by more than 30 percent.

Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. (Cheniere Partners) is a Delaware limited partnership formed by Cheniere Energy, Inc. Through wholly owned subsidiaries, it owns and operates the Sabine Pass LNG receiving terminal and the Creole Trail Pipeline located in western Cameron Parish, Louisiana on the Sabine-Neches Waterway. Cheniere Partners has been paying quarterly distributions since 2007.
