Activision Blizzard hikes dividend by 8.8%

Activision Blizzard (ATVI) will raise its annual dividend by 8.8 percent to $0.37 per share in the first quarter of 2019. This follows dividend increases in each of the past eight years.

The increased dividend is payable on May 9, 2019 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 28, 2019. The new rate of 37 cents annually yields 0.9% at the current stock price.

Activision Blizzard, Inc. is a developer and publisher of online, personal computer (PC), video game console, handheld, mobile and tablet games. Its franchises include Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Spyro, Crash, Bubble Witch, Farm Heroes and Candy Crush.
