VF Corp cuts dividend by 15.7% following Kontoor Brands spin-off

Dividend Aristocrat VF Corporation (VFC) will pay a lower quarterly dividend of $0.43 per share in September related to the Kontoor Brands separation. On May 23, 2019, VF Corporation completed the separation of VF’s Jeanswear organization into an independent, publicly traded company.

The next dividend of $0.43 per share will be paid on September 20, 2019 to shareholders of record on September 10, 2019. VF Corp had increased its dividend from 46 cents to 51 cents quarterly last year. If adjusted for a new quarterly dividend paid by Kontoor, VF will keep its status as a Dividend Aristocrat.
