Cheniere Energy Partners (CQP) will raise its quarterly distribution by another 1.7 percent to $0.61 per unit in the third quarter of 2019. This brings the total increase this year to 5.2 percent.
The next distribution is payable on August 14, 2019, to unitholders of record as of August 6, 2019. A new annual rate of $2.44 per share yields 5.3% at a stock price of $46.47 for CQP. Year-to-date the stock has gained 28.7 percent.
Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. (Cheniere Partners) is a Delaware limited partnership formed by Cheniere Energy, Inc. Through wholly owned subsidiaries, it owns and operates the Sabine Pass LNG receiving terminal and the Creole Trail Pipeline located in western Cameron Parish, Louisiana on the Sabine-Neches Waterway. Cheniere Partners has been paying quarterly distributions since 2007.
