Cheniere Energy Partners hikes distribution by 1.6%

Cheniere Energy Partners (CQP) will raise its quarterly distribution by another 1.6 percent to $0.62 per unit with a payment in the fourth quarter of 2019. This brings the total increase this year to 6.9 percent.

The company will pay a cash distribution per common and subordinated unit of $0.62 to unitholders of record as of November 7, 2019 and the related general partner distribution on November 14, 2019.

A new annual distribution of $2.48 per unit yields 5.6% at a price of $44.

Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. (Cheniere Partners) is a Delaware limited partnership formed by Cheniere Energy, Inc. Through wholly owned subsidiaries, it owns and operates the Sabine Pass LNG receiving terminal and the Creole Trail Pipeline located in western Cameron Parish, Louisiana on the Sabine-Neches Waterway. Through Sabine Pass LNG, L.P., Cheniere Partners owns and operates regasification facilities at the Sabine Pass LNG terminal, which includes LNG storage tanks, marine berths and vaporizers with regasification capacity. Cheniere Partners also owns a  pipeline that interconnects the Sabine Pass LNG terminal with a number of large interstate pipelines through its wholly owned subsidiary, Cheniere Creole Trail Pipeline, L.P. Cheniere Partners has been paying quarterly distributions since 2007, when it became a publicly traded company.
