Exelon hikes dividend by 5.5%

Exelon Corporation (EXC) will raise its quarterly dividend by 5.5 percent to $0.3825 per share in the first quarter of 2020. This marks the 5th straight year of higher dividends by the utility services company.

The next dividend is payable on March 10, 2020, to shareholders of record of Exelon as of February 20, 2020. A new annualized rate of $1.53 per share yields 3.2% at a stock price of $47.73.

Exelon Corporation is utility services holding company. The company's utilities deliver electricity and natural gas to customers in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania through its Atlantic City Electric, BGE, ComEd, Delmarva Power, PECO and Pepco subsidiaries.
